In 1990, fueled by a leap of faith, Dr. Anne opened a private learning organization, expecting little but embracing every opportunity. To her astonishment, the venture flourished beyond imagination, and it was then that she realized she had discovered her true calling. From 1990 to 2001, she operated the largest learning center among the franchise centers in San Diego County, touching the lives of countless learners. An exciting opportunity arose in 2002, leading Dr. Anne to serve a diverse population in the public school system. It was during this time that she felt a profound need to address her sentiment of inadequacy when confronted with unfamiliar terms like the "Piaget model," which alluded to her pedagogical approach. Fueled by this realization, she seized the opportunity provided by the state government and embarked on a journey of further education, enrolling in the Masters of Education program to become a mathematics teacher. |
Since 2002, Dr. Anne has been an active advocate in the California public school system, undertaking various roles as a High School Math Teacher, Teacher Adviser, Site English Learner Accountability Leader, and Adult School Teacher. Today, she takes immense pride in her contribution to one of the nation's largest districts, where she continues to inspire generations.
Armed with a strong educational background that includes a B.A. in Mathematics and minor in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin, M. Ed. in Cross Cultural Teaching Mathematics, M.A. in Pupil Personnel Services, and Ed. D. in Educational Leadership and Change, Dr. Anne brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her work. Her credentials span Mathematics, Computer Applications, School Administration, and School Counseling, equipping her to make a meaningful impact in diverse areas.
